Currently, 2 of my mall shops are participating in "hunts"

At Urban Shopper mall, ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dubya%20City/79/160/25 ) you can find the bubble gum wads all over the shops. I have one wad of gum for the men, and one for the ladies. The hunt goes until Thursday.

For the men, we have a lovely Pinstriped suit with yellow tie and pocket-kerchief.

For the ladies, a tie-dyed halter and broomstick pleated prim skirt.

At Mikey's 50's Dance Club, ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Coco%20Beach%20Kelina/57/179/23) there will be a treasure hunt 23 August to 30 August. I have two small spheres in my shop, just outside the Landing Point for the club. Both are purple, and you need to look UP to see them.

Sphere 1: For the men, a Pinstriped suit with red tie and pocket-kerchief. For the ladies, a matching red and black formal gown, with gloves and shoes.

Sphere 2: For the men, 2 layers of our Men's bowling shirt in Olive tones, with coordinating pleat-front trousers. For the ladies, our afternoon suit in Sky Blue.

The main store at Sea Monk has reopened. Stock is returning to the walls, but it will be slow to come, as I'm redoing everything. I've put a few things up on the walls for now.

Dani's has something for everyone this week!

Wow Dani's has really gone to town this week. If you've visited the mainstore recently you've probably noticed we're undergoing a major refit. The store is now 4 times larger and we have installed a mezzanine floor. We're still working on the refit, so more about that next week ;)

So the releases. First up, there are animal print camisole tops mounted on a clothes line. Cropped tops with spahgetti straps in 10 different colors are available individually for 99L or a multipack of 5 assorted colors for 449L. All 3 layers are included in each packge, to give you total flexability.

Then we've gone all Victorian for the men. With beautifully detailed trousers, shirts and brocade waistcoats.

The dress shirts come in 3 pastel shades: White, pink, and green. The trousers are available in Brown, Grey, or Blue, and the waistcoats, in shiny satin brocade, are available in red, green, blue, and bronze.

And last, but surely not least, the lovely gown Lyria is now available in a total of five lovely colors! Buy one or two for 349L, or a mulitpack of all five!

Dani's rises to the "OMG Ruth" Challenge

So I notice this post on Alaska Metropolitan's Blog that shows just what could be done with the Ruth shape, and I decided that I'd have a go.

Some of you may know that I'm a male AV in SL, however this didn't stop me having a go...

The results are above.. As with Alaska's makeover, I have only altered the shape by setting the shoe size to zero. However unlike Alaska the only bit of paywear was the dress..

Sorry we're a little late getting this release on the blog. The auction and gala last week took up a LOT of time! We did raise over 40,000L for Pink Ribbon. So here's the latest release from Dani's!

Charity Auction for Pink Ribbon.

Some major designers donated quality products for a silent Auction that commenced yesterday at Danielle Harrop and Bee Mizser’s Wedding Anniversary Gala.

Bee recently lost a friend DeeDee Fadoodle to Breast Cancer, and the Gala was dedicated to helping the fight!

The Auction is running till Friday and all proceeds will be going to Pink Ribbon to help the fight against Breast Cancer.

A lot to fill you in on.

First off, the sale at the mainstore is continuing for a few more days. (ends Monday 21 July)

Many items of ladieswear have been reduced to L$25. After this sale, the reduced items will be discontinued. So come grab an end of line bargain.

Next up, Dani's is taking part in the "Say I Do" Wedding Expo.

We are very privileged to be invited to do a catwalk show. This will be next Tuesday 22 July at 7PM SLT.

As such this weeks releases are all in preparation for this Expo.

The main release this week is for the guys, and is a very stylish grey dinner suit.

There are also bridal releases of Lyria, Falling Stars and a pink and white wedding gown.

Finally, Bee & Danielle celebrate their 1st SL Wedding Anniversary next Wednesday 23 July and would like to invite you to our Gala for Charity at Alive and Kicking Club which features silent auctions, DJs and live singers. The event starts at 8am SLT and will continue through till 3pm. We do hope to see you there!.

We released 2 freebies today for the month of May.

And, ya know, I'm only human. Today, I stayed in my store while the "FashCon" subscribers rushed in to see the real deal from the note card I released. I had three types of people. The first group came, bought both the male and female freebies and left (nothin' wrong with that, thank you so much for stopping by, and I mean that very sincerely!!). The second group got the freebies then bought something else (OMG, thank you so much, and if you IM me, I'll make sure the outfits fit you perfectly and will do all in my power to provide the best customer service you've ever seen!!!) . The third group stood silently for a while, then in chat started to critique and ridicule the freebies, and everything else they saw.

My reaction was mixed, but eventually, I decided to just let it all go. Those who like my work apreciate it and purchase it. Those who decide to stand in my shop for 30 minutes, then ridicule it in some language I don't speak, then tp out when they see I've turned on the Babbler, well..I'm just not sure how to feel....

How does one take criticism that isn't constructive...

Things like "I think all this store is ugly" and "I'd rather you buy stuff in my shop than here" I want to scream out, "If you don't like it, leave"

And the person who put on the male version of the free outfit, then proceeded to publically ridicule it...saying out loud how it made her look like a fetish queen or some such non-sense........ I wanted to say:

Oh My God..it's FREE....you could make it yourself, at the upload cost of 10L....but instead, you take the free stuff from me and then stand in my shop telling everyone how awful it is? Go on wit your bad self, and pimp your lovely lady humps somewhere else, kk?

But the business woman in me says I have to stand there smiling, and thank them for dropping by.

If you don't like it, just don't buy it..and go shop where you're happy...but please, don't invite your friends in to laugh at my stuff..kk?

These are my favorites from the collection.

Pink and Black Satin. A pink sequined underbodice is covered partially by a black satin waist-wrap, cinching in the waistline and making the transition between bodice and skirt smooth and flawless. The overskirt is split in the front, revealing the pink and black underskirt. 199L. Currently no mod/no copy trans, but perms will be changing soon to mod/copy no trans. Also available in Orange/Black.

Red Sparkles Formal. Luscious satin wraps the body, gathered and accented with jewels and sequins. This dress shows enough skin to be alluring without sacrificing modesty.
